I am, it has to be said, loving having the cats around, Waking up to find them curled on the bed brings extraordinary amounts of joy to my shrivelled old Scottish heart.
I am on tenterhooks (not my favourite position) about the Mombasa trip. Sure enough, I get a text from Vicky saying it is off and that we can “maybe” reschedule for 9th. Which would leave my return from the coast perilously close to departure date. Having said which, there is really bugger all to rush home for as there is STILL no electricity in the new shop. I have never been any kind of a conspiracy theorist but, really, WTF ?
I am not a little buggered (slightly more of a favourite position then the tenterhooks) for the coming week. No Mombasa and Purity in up in Muranga with her Dad.
I do more apologising for not buying anything around the market, hit Best Lady to see if they have any black seed soap (they don’t), have a bit of a dizzy turn and head back to Corner. David is getting his money easy these days. I have soup at Chicken Master to the usual accompaniment of tomorrow’s menu squawking in their cages outside.
Please remember to donate.
